This project undertakes the important task of transporting natural gas from LNG receiving terminals to land, and is a crucial component of the national energy security strategy. The main structure is a 1.8-kilometer offshore shield tunnel, which will traverse complex seabed strata to lay a 1219 mm diameter high-pressure natural gas pipeline.
1219 mm diameter straight seam submerged arc welded steel pipe and spiral steel pipe, designed pressure 10 MPa. The pipeline conforms to API 5L PSL2 and GB/T 9711 standards, with an external 3PE reinforced anti-corrosion coating.
