To strengthen safety awareness and enhance emergency response capabilities, our factory conducted a comprehensive fire drill on September 1, 2018. All employees, safety team members, and emergency responders participated in the exercise, which was carried out in strict accordance with safety protocols.
Preparation and Training
Prior to the drill, the safety department developed a detailed plan outlining evacuation routes, responsibilities, and emergency procedures. On-site training covered fire prevention, initial fire suppression, evacuation techniques, and the proper use of fire extinguishers and hoses. Key points such as fire lane management and electrical safety were also emphasized.
Drill Execution
Upon the alarm, participants followed designated evacuation routes, moving quickly and orderly to the assembly point. Department heads conducted headcounts immediately after evacuation.
In the hands-on session, employees practiced using fire extinguishers under supervision, mastering the “pull, aim, squeeze, sweep” technique. The emergency response team also conducted coordinated exercises, including fire reporting, scene control, and first aid.
Review and Continuous Improvement
After the drill, the safety manager reviewed the process, recognizing strong performance while identifying areas for improvement. The exercise reinforced the importance of safety awareness and preparedness.
Moving forward, we will continue to prioritize safety through regular drills and training, ensuring a secure and stable production environment.
